Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, after eight years of this Liberal government, after eight long years of disastrous management, the government is introducing carbon tax 2.0, and the Bloc is on board. The Bloc wants to radically increase that carbon tax and has voted with the government twice. Voting for the Bloc is costly.

Affordable Housing and Groceries Act  Madam Speaker, I have a question and I am going to look to my colleague because I know she has a lot of experience in the labour movement. If Quebec's major labour unions could step up and give people in the building trades a little more flexibility, would that help increase the number of affordable and social housing units?

Canadian Heritage  Mr. Speaker, congratulations on your election to the chair. After eight years in power, the Liberal government is trying to control freedom of speech in Canada. Granting too much power to the CRTC will limit the right to disclose what Canadians think and what they want to share on social media.

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, with the Bloc-Liberal coalition wanting to radically increase carbon taxes, voting for the Bloc Québécois is too costly, especially since the Bloc leader does not even know the annual gas consumption for a family of four in Quebec. The Bloc-Liberal coalition does not understand the struggles of Canadian families.

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, the carbon taxes are increasing the cost of living for Canadians, including our farmers. As if eight years of Liberal incompetence were not costly enough, now the new Bloc-Liberal coalition is adding to the pile. It is scandalous. Voting for the Bloc Québécois is very costly.

Business of Supply  Madam Speaker, I took the time to listen to my colleague and I found what he said about oil company profits interesting. My question will be simpler. Let us focus on Quebec, because my colleague is an expert on Quebeckers and was the environment minister. To help us understand the impact of all the gas taxes on an average family in Quebec, can the leader of the Bloc Québécois tell me how many litres of gas the average individual or average family in Quebec uses per year?

Strengthening the Port System and Railway Safety in Canada Act  Madam Speaker, I thank my colleague for his very interesting speech. I too have concerns about granting new powers to Ottawa, especially regarding rail, but also regarding ports, since that could cause problems. I would like my colleague to tell me whether, during the committee study, he will be pointing out to the government that there are no measures in Bill C-33 to stop stolen vehicles from being shipped out of Canada.

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, the government and its coalition with the Bloc want to drastically increase the cost of living for Canadians. Voting Bloc is costly. Gas taxes will be sky-high. Electricity bills will go through the roof. Grocery bills will skyrocket. Rent prices will balloon. Will the government reject the Bloc's demand to drastically increase inflationary carbon taxes?

Carbon Pricing  Mr. Speaker, the Liberal-Bloc coalition seeking to drastically increase carbon tax 2.0 is fuelling inflation across the country. It is outrageous. Everything costs more because of this obsession of the Liberal Party and the Bloc to drastically increase the inflationary carbon tax.

Housing  Madam Speaker, the dream for Canadian families is to own a home so that they do not end up living with their parents. That dream has become inaccessible because of this incompetent Liberal government's inflationary policies that keep driving up construction costs. Canada needs more than 100,000 new housing units a year, and housing starts are down across the country.

Canada Business Corporations Act  Madam Speaker, I thank my colleague for informing us, like a good teacher, about the tax evasion issue. I would like him to go into greater detail about one of the points he raised in his speech. I am referring to international lobbying and the large corporations that set up tax evasion schemes.

Housing  Mr. Speaker, the rising cost of rent is hurting thousands of Canadians of all ages who are seeing their rent increase by up to 55%. It is completely immoral, just like this Prime Minister, who is more concerned about returning favours than finding solutions to inflation. Does this tired government understand that rent hikes are getting out of control and that it needs to find solutions to really help Canadians?

Criminal Code  Madam Speaker, I listened closely to my colleague's speech. As he did in his speech about the Conservatives, I would like to talk to him about what the Liberals were doing several years ago. When the Liberals were the official opposition, some Liberal MPs swore up and down that they would never legalize drugs.

Criminal Code  Mr. Speaker, I think that is the most intelligent question I have been asked this evening. Of course, if a person who has been granted the right to own a firearm is negligent, engages in domestic violence or is found to be suffering from mental illness, then it would be appropriate for that person to lose that right.

Criminal Code  Mr. Speaker, simply introducing this bill in the House, going after honest Canadians instead of going after criminals and those who bring illegal guns into Canada, shows how much the Liberals have chosen to politicize an issue tied to safety, one on which we could have worked together, just for political gains because they are truly afraid of losing the next election.
