Unfortunately, I can't speculate on how things will evolve, but be assured—my colleague Madame Bédard mentioned prudent planning—that we are actively planning a range of options in case they become necessary.

Foreign Affairs committee  I would be happy to speak to Canada's efforts to bring out Canadians, permanent residents and their immediate family. We have, as I mentioned, one of the largest contingents of foreign nationals who came out. We were able to assist them in crossing the Rafah border. Obviously, it's a very difficult environment.
